Welcome to AI Creature Evolution!

Your goal is to guide a creature through the vast expanse of geological time, evolving it from a simple organism into something complex and resilient.

Core Gameplay:

• Suggest Evolutions: Type your ideas for how your creature should change into the "Suggest an evolution" box (e.g., "develop a shell," "grow legs," "learn to hunt"). Then click "Evolve!".
• Get Suggestions: If you're stuck, click "Suggest Evolutions" for AI-generated ideas based on your creature's current state.
• Name Your Creature: Give your lineage a name in the "Creature Name" input. You can also check "Auto Name" for the AI to name it.

Understanding the Interface:

• Period Area: Shows the current geological period, time passed, your creature's location, environment, population, and knowledge.
• World Map: Displays a map relevant to the current geological period.
• Creature Display: Shows an image of your creature and its current description.
• Size Comparison: Compares your creature's size to a human, an ant, and the Planck length.
• Biological Details: Provides AI-generated insights into your creature's biology (atoms, bones, muscles, organs) and disease status.
• Evolution History: Tracks each evolutionary step.

Events & Challenges:

• Extinction Events: Major crises can occur, often triggered at the end of geological periods. You'll need to evolve traits to survive the specific challenge.
• Disease Outbreaks: Your creature might get sick! Evolve to develop resistance or find a cure.
• Alternative Risks: Especially in later eras, your creature might face unique threats like human activity or climate change.

Tips & Features:

• Evolution Tips: Check the "Evolution Tips by Creator" section for advice on phrasing your evolution suggestions.
• Save/Load: Don't lose your progress! Use the "Save/Load Game" section to save your game code and load it later.
• Achievements: Unlock various achievements for reaching milestones in your creature's evolution.
• Settings: Customize your experience with options like Dark Mode and explore the Cheat Panel (warning: cheats disable saving!).

The journey is long and full of surprises. Adapt, innovate, and see how far your creature can go!

Here are some suggestions on how to phrase your evolution ideas:

• Use "Develop..." for introducing new structures or abilities (e.g., "Develop a hard shell", "Develop photosynthesis").
• Use "Learn..." for acquiring new behaviors or cognitive skills, especially if your creature has a brain (e.g., "Learn to make a nest", "Learn to communicate").
• Use "Evolve..." to improve existing parts or adapt them (e.g., "Evolve stronger muscles", "Evolve better eyesight").
• Use "Advance..." for significantly improving or making existing parts more complex (e.g., "Advance digestive system", "Advance sensory organs").
• You can also use "Evolve to remove..." if your creature sheds an unnecessary part (e.g., "Evolve to remove gills" when moving to land). (Please don't remove essential organs like the heart!)
• Think about the environment! If there's an extinction event, suggest traits that would help survive the specific challenge.
• Use "Fix/send me back..." to correct AI errors or unwanted evolutionary paths (e.g., "Fix the extra limbs issue", "Send me back to being a land creature").
• The save code is responsible for this game, it can help the game to generate current period, Time passed, Location and More!
